I mostly lurk and look for quirky avatars and different art work to appreciate. I may not possess a single artistic bone but like appreciating different artwork all the same.
As of recent I thought I'd temporarily hover away from science geekdom and try my hand at incorporating things that fascinate my visual sense. Lines, letters, patterns and so forth.
Since I'm a rookie, feedback- especially brutally honest criticism- is much appreciated and greatly valued.

So I've been playing around with watercolour, too, to add colour to some sketch ideas I have in my head. Since I'm new at this, obviously what's in my head has great difficulty transferring onto paper. Yay. Other people have this problem, right? If so, how do you go about handling it?
Sometimes I'll end up drawing an outline of what I want to do and once I'm done my mind just blanks out- I don't know what to do next and suddenly the idea in my head doesn't seem like such a good or smart one after all. Or I just don't know what the next step should be. Needless to say, I already have incomplete outlines/drawings just sitting in my diary waiti
